Elevate your cup with Strictly High Grown (SHG) Organic coffee from the Pacavita region of western Honduras. Nestled between two biological reserves—Reserva Biologica de Opalaca and Reserva Biologica Volcan Pacavita—this coffee is produced by Silvestre Vasquez and Joel Lopez, two farmers committed to continuously improving coffee quality. Grown at the highest altitudes of the Pico Congolon mountain range, this coffee reflects the perfect synergy of high-altitude climate, fertile clay soil, and sustainable practices.

Flavor Profile:

  • Bittersweet chocolate
  • Roasted almond
  • Green apple
  • Vanilla
  • Bright acidity
  • Medium body

What makes it special:

  • Strictly High Grown (SHG) Excellence: This coffee is grown at altitudes of 1,350 meters and above, ensuring slow cherry maturation and nutrient-dense beans that deliver vibrant, complex flavors.
  • Organic and Hand-Sorted: Produced using organic methods, each batch is European Preparation (EP) certified, with no more than four defects per 1,000 beans, ensuring a clean and consistent cup.
  • Producers Committed to Quality:
    • Silvestre Vasquez: His farm, located in the high altitudes of Pico Congolon, benefits from the unique microclimate between two biological reserves, resulting in premium coffee.
    • Joel Lopez: A fourth-generation coffee producer, Joel’s family has cultivated Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuai varieties on Los Lesquines farm since 1865.

Processing:
This coffee undergoes the washed process and is sun-dried in the dry season, allowing the bright acidity and delicate sweetness to shine through, with notes of roasted almond, green apple, and vanilla creating a truly unique flavor profile.
