- Handpicked Perfection: Each cherry is handpicked at peak ripeness and processed with precision at cooperative wet mills, where traditional methods like disc pulping, full fermentation, washing, and sun-drying on raised tables ensure the highest quality beans.
- Legendary Varietals: This blend features the iconic SL-28 and SL-34 varietals, developed in the 1930s by Scott Agricultural Laboratories. These varietals are known for their resistance to drought and ability to thrive in high-altitude conditions, delivering the bold and vibrant flavors that define Kenyan coffee. The Ruiru-11 varietal, developed after the 1968 coffee berry disease epidemic, adds a unique element with its CBD resistance and adaptability.
